Proteasome inhibitor, ixazomib prevents topoisomerase‐I degradation and reverses irinotecan resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Periodic Solutions of Multispecies Mutualism System with Infinite Delays

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We studied the delayed periodic mutualism system with Gilpin-Ayala effect. Some new and interesting sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the existence of periodic solution for the multispecies mutualism system with infinite delays.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Some Interesting Bifurcations of Nonlinear Waves for the Generalized Drinfel’d-Sokolov System

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We study the bifurcations of nonlinear waves for the generalized Drinfel’d-Sokolov system ut+(vm)x=0,vt+a(vn)xxx+buxv+cuvx=0 called D(m,n) system. We reveal some interesting bifurcation phenomena as follows. (1) For D(2,1) system, the fractional solitary

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Asymptotic Behavior of a Periodic Diffusion System

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2010
We study the asymptotic behavior of the nonnegative solutions of a periodic reaction diffusion system. By obtaining a priori upper bound of the nonnegative periodic solutions of the corresponding periodic diffusion system, we establish the existence of ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Periodic Solution for Nonlinear System of Differential Equations Depending on The Gamma Distribution

open access: yesScience Journal of University of Zakho, 2014
In this paper we study the periodic solution of nonlinear system of differential equations depending on the gamma distribution by using the numerical analytic method to investigate periodic solutions of ordinary differential equation which given by ...
