New periodic variable stars coincident withROSATsources discovered using SuperWASP [PDF]
We present optical lightcurves of 428 periodic variable stars coincident with ROSAT X-ray sources, detected using the first run of the SuperWASP photometric survey. Only 68 of these were previously recognised as periodic variables.

Periodic variable A-F spectral type stars in the southern TESS continuous viewing zone
Aims. Our primary objective is to accurately identify and classify the variability of A-F stars in the southern continuous viewing zone of the TESS satellite.

Short-period variability of the Be star ? Eri
Astrophysics and Space Science, 1984Photoelectric and spectrographic observations of the Be star λ Eri made during five nights indicate that the luminosity variations have a different periodicity from that of radial velocity variations. This result seems to show that, at least during our observing time, the observed variability has not to be ascribed to a pulsation of the star.

The Distribution of The Periods of the Hagnetic Variable Stars
International Astronomical Union Colloquium, 1976SummaryThe distribution of the periods of about 80 of the known variable Ap stars is studied in the framework of the oblique rotator model. It is shown that for the long period variables (P > 100 days) the oblique rotator has trouble in explaining the observed variations.
