Neurovascular Contacts in the Pathophysiology of Neuralgic Amyotrophy: An Observational Study
ABSTRACT Objective Neuralgic amyotrophy (NA) is a prevalent, monophasic, multifocal immune‐mediated neuropathy. A distinctive characteristic of the disease is the occurrence of nerve or fascicle constrictions and torsions (NA‐associated focal nerve lesions, NAFL). The pathophysiology underlying this phenomenon remains to be fully elucidated.

Bifurcation Approach to Analysis of Travelling Waves in Nonlocal Hydrodynamic-Type Models
The paper considers the nonlocal hydrodynamic-type systems which are two-dimensional travelling wave systems with a five-parameter group. We apply the method of dynamical systems to investigate the bifurcations of phase portraits depending on the ...

Dynamical behaviors and exact traveling wave solutions for a modified Broer-Kaup system
In this paper, we focus on smooth periodic wave, periodic blow-up wave, solitary wave, blow-up wave, kink and anti-kink wave solutions for a modified Broer-Kaup system. Based on the approach of dynamical systems, the existence of above traveling waves is

ABSTRACT Objective To characterize the demographic, clinical, and laboratory features of the Chinese patients of genetic Creutzfeldt‐Jakob disease with T188K variant (T188K‐gCJD), the most common subtype of genetic prion diseases (gPrDs) in China. Methods In this nationwide retrospective study, data from 98 genetically confirmed T188K‐gCJD patients ...

Bifurcation of Traveling Wave Solutions of the Dual Ito Equation
The dual Ito equation can be seen as a two-component generalization of the well-known Camassa-Holm equation. By using the theory of planar dynamical system, we study the existence of its traveling wave solutions.

ABSTRACT Objective Variants in SLC6A1, encoding the GABA transporter 1 (GAT‐1), cause epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delay via loss of GABA uptake, impaired trafficking, and ER retention. We previously found that 4‐Phenylbutyrate (PBA), an FDA‐approved drug, restores GABA uptake and reduces seizures in SLC6A1‐related disorders ...

Exact Solitary Wave and Periodic Wave Solutions of a Class of Higher-Order Nonlinear Wave Equations [PDF]
We study the exact traveling wave solutions of a general fifth-order nonlinear wave equation and a generalized sixth-order KdV equation. We find the solvable lower-order subequations of a general related fourth-order ordinary differential equation ...

Orbital stability of periodic travelling waves for coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations
This article addresses orbital stability of periodic travelling-wave solutions for coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations. We prove the existence of smooth curves of periodic travelling-wave solutions depending on the dnoidal-type functions. Orbital
