Safety and Efficacy of Direct Cryobiopsy Specimen Retrieval Through the 3.0‐mm Working Channel of a Therapeutic Bronchoscope Using a 1.1‐mm Cryoprobe: A Multicentre Prospective Observational Study

Safety and efficacy of direct 1.1‐mm cryobiopsy specimen retrieval through a 3.0‐mm therapeutic bronchoscope channel were evaluated. The technique achieved 87.5% overall diagnostic yield, produced specimens three times larger than forceps biopsy, and caused Grade 3 bleeding in only 2.1%.

Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review

Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.
