A note on the influence of heat and mass transfer on a peristaltic flow of a viscous fluid in a vertical asymmetric channel with wall slip [PDF]
This note deals with the influence of heat and mass transfer on peristaltic flow of an viscous fluid with wall slip condition. The flow is investigated in a wave frame of reference moving with the velocity of the wave.

Tuning Redox Dynamics in Cu‐Based Electrocatalysts: Effect of Secondary Metals
Advanced analysis of operando X‐ray absorption spectroscopy data reveals that secondary metals affect the redox processes in Cu‐based catalysts for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction. This influences the amount of oxides formed under pulsed reaction conditions and the distribution of reaction products.

This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

Variable properties of MHD third order fluid with peristalsis
This article addresses the impact of temperature dependent variable properties on peristaltic flow of third order fluid in a symmetric channel. The MHD fluid and viscous dissipation effects are taken into account.

This study introduces a modular microfluidic platform that connects liver cells with live microbes to mimic key aspects of the gut–liver interaction in steatosis. Using this system, both microbial metabolites and live bacteria significantly reduced fat accumulation in liver cells, but live microbes triggered inflammation and broader metabolic changes ...

What if human skin could remain fully alive and functional outside the body for weeks? A New Alternative Method (NAM) based on a vascularized full‐thickness skin microphysiological system achieves precisely this, preserving native vasculature, resident immunity, and metabolic activity for up to three weeks, while faithfully recapitulating radiation ...

A high‐resolution 3D‐printed tumor‐on‐a‐chip platform sustains breast cancer tissues at in vivo–like cell densities through vascular‐like perfusion. This engineered system recapitulates grade‐dependent molecular features and exhibits drug‐resistance profiles that uniquely align with clinically relevant Cmax values.

Effects of Poiseuille flow on peristaltic transport [PDF]
The effects of Poiseuille flow on peristaltic transport in a cylindrical tube has been investigated. A perturbation solution is obtained, which satisfies the momentum equation for the case in which the amplitude ratio (wave amplitude/tube radius) is chosen as a small parameter.
