Scaling laws for synchronous permanent magnet machines

open access: yes2015 Tenth International Conference on Ecological Vehicles and Renewable Energies (EVER), 2015
This paper defines the scaling laws for synchronous permanent magnet machines which include three separate procedures: rewinding, axial scaling, radial scaling. The derivation of scaling relations is based on the requirement that the magnetic fields in the scaled model should be the exact images of the fields in the referent model.
