Design studies of inner and outer embedded Permanent Magnet for hybrid electric vehicles

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
Hybrid vehicles require high torque for propel, hence permanent Magnet machines are highly suiting for the improvement in the torque density. The paper focus on designing built-in interior permanent magnet (IPM) synchronous machine for hybrid electric ...

Permanent magnets synchronous machines faults detection and identification

open access: yesIECON 2012 - 38th Annual Conference on IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2012
The reported work is the design of a Fault Detection system for permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSM). Two main faults occurring on these machines are identified as inter-turns short-circuits and rotor single pole demagnetization, and characterized. An analytical model of the PMSM is developed and simulated using Matlab Simulink.

Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

Rotor demagnetization effects on permanent magnet synchronous machines

open access: yesEnergy Conversion and Management, 2013
Abstract The effects of asymmetrical magnet faults on the rotor of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines (PMSM) are analyzed in the present work. Two different stator winding configurations, series and parallel connected windings, are considered in the analysis.

An Ultrafast Self‐Gelling Versatile Hydrogel for Rapid Infected Burn Wound Repair in Military Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A self‐gelling PG@PAC (POD/Gel‐CDH@PA/CHX) powder is developed for infected burn care in austere settings. Upon contact with wound exudate, it instantly forms an adhesive hydrogel, providing simultaneous hemostasis, broad‐spectrum antibacterial activity, reactive oxygen species scavenging, and immunomodulation. In a murine model of S.

Dense Nanofibrillar Collagen–Silica Hybrids with High Strength and ECM‐Mimetic Tissue Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Dense nanofibrillar collagen–silica hybrids are engineered by synchronizing collagen fibrillogenesis with silica condensation, producing printable scaffolds that unexpectedly approach native extracellular matrix organization and strength. These cell‐free constructs guide endogenous cell‐infiltration, enable localized matrix remodeling, and integrate ...
