Testing a nutrient composition threshold model to classify brands for marketing restrictions.
IntroductionFood marketing restrictions often apply nutrient profile models (NPM) to distinguish unhealthy products that should not be advertised, however brand-only marketing remains largely unaddressed.

ADP‐ribosylation: An emerging regulator of the epigenome
ADP‐ribosylation has emerged as a dynamic epigenetic signaling mechanism that modifies histones and chromatin‐associated proteins. Through coordinated PARylation and MARylation, it integrates with other histone modifications to regulate chromatin structure, transcription factor activity, and gene expression, influencing genome function and disease ...

Camma (Hide or Leather) in Theravāda-Vinaya: The Tension Between Permission and Prohibition
This paper examines the issue of Buddhist monastics’ use of leather by analyzing the cases of leather (camma) in the Pāli vinaya. Leather is a household item that can conflict with the core Buddhist values of non-killing (ahiṃsā) and compassion (karuṇā),

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

A yeast model of 5‐oxoproline accumulation reveals a general toleration to 5‐oxoproline
Using a yeast model, we show that even high accumulation of 5‐oxoproline causes only mild cellular stress and does not trigger oxidative stress. Instead, cells adapt by activating efflux pumps and diverse protective pathways, suggesting that previously proposed harmful effects of 5‐oxoproline may arise from indirect metabolic imbalances rather than the
