Phase‐separated alkyl poly(vinylimidazolium) membranes exhibit exceptional ionic conductivity, counter‐ion selectivity, and proton‐blocking ability by forming stable micro/macrophase‐separated domains. This design overcomes the conductivity–selectivity trade‐off in conventional ion‐exchange membranes (IEMs), offering a new paradigm for high‐performance

Porous ceramics of sodium potassium niobate system
In our work, we used the finely dispersed polystyrene to produce porous samples of the piezoelectric ceramics. Samples of the sodium potassium niobate ceramics with pore concentrations of the 10, 20, 25, 30 and 40 volume percent were produced.

Low permittivity epoxy nanoporous composites filled with hollow nanosilica
An epoxy nanoporous composite (NPC) filled with hollow nanosilica exhibits lower permittivity than unfilled epoxy resin. The hollow nanosilica is a silica nanoparticle containing a nanometric closed pore.

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) shields consisting of polylactic acid (PLA) in layers with different concentrations of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) are produced using additive manufacturing. The permittivity function of layers with different filler concentrations is learned using data of homogeneous and randomly ordered shields.

2D Borophene: In‐Plane Hyperbolic Polaritons in the Visible Spectral Range
Researchers have synthesized the χ3 phase of borophene, a 2D metal, using chemical vapor deposition. Combining theory and deep‐subwavelength spectroscopy, they uncover borophene's unique anisotropic optical behavior in the visible range. This breakthrough paves the way for advanced optoelectronic devices using borophene‐based heterostructures ...

Microwave Interferometry Based On Open-ended Coaxial Technique for High Sensitivity Liquid Sensing
This paper describes a modified open-ended coaxial technique for microwave dielectric characterization in liquid media. A calibration model is developed to relate the measured transmission coefficient to the local properties of the sample under test.
