Tailoring Phonon‐Driven Responses in α‐MoO3 through Isotopic Enrichment
ABSTRACT The implementation of polaritonic materials into nanoscale devices requires selective tuning of parameters to realize desired spectral or thermal responses. One robust material, α‐MoO3, an orthorhombic crystal boasting three distinct phonon dispersions, provides three polaritonic dispersions of hyperbolic phonon polaritons (HPhPs) across the ...

Layer orientation dictates charge transport in 2D conjugated metal–organic frameworks, yet controllable methods remain scarce. We report surfactant monolayer‐assisted on‐water synthesis of cm2‐scale Ni‐HHTP films with programmable face‐on and edge‐on orientations.

Complex permittivity measurements for moisture and salinity characterization of building materials
In this paper, preliminary results of complex permittivity measurements of clay-brick material will be presented. The general aim of the experimental project is to correlate the measured permittivity of construction materials with the content of water ...

Large size (∼100 µm) monolayer MoS2 grown by LPI‐CVD on n‐GaN exhibit a high n‐type doping, very low strain, and a type‐I band alignment at MoS2/GaN interface. Photocurrent measurements under illumination with photon energies from ∼2 to ∼5 eV show superior electro‐optical performances of these MoS2/n‐GaN heterojunctions as compared to Ni/n‐GaN devices ...

Effect of compaction degree on permittivity of water-glass containing moulding sand
The presented basic research was aimed at determining a correlation between compaction degree of moulding sand and its permittivity εr at 2,45•109 s-1. The measurement results make a basis for mathematical description of a multilayer technological system

Atomic Layer Deposition of Metallic Molybdenum Dioxide Thin Films Enabling High‐k Rutile Capacitors
The first direct atomic layer deposition (ALD) process of molybdenum dioxide (MoO2) thin films is reported using molybdenum(II) acetate dimer (Mo2(OAc)4) and oxygen (O2) as precursors at 235°C–275°C. The films are crystalline, exceptionally pure, and conductive.

Analysis and measurement of permittivity in composite materials at low frequencies
This paper focuses on the measurement of the effective permittivity εeff in composite structures. A reconsideration of some concepts related to the measurement of effective permittivity for dielectric media and compositematerials at low frequencies is ...
