Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Permutability of Rules for Linear Lattices

open access: yes, 2005
The theory of linear lattices is presented as a system with multiple-conclusion rules. It is shown through the permutability of the rules that the system enjoys a subterm property: all terms in a derivation can be restricted to terms in the conclusion or

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for

Small RNA pathways in mammalian oocytes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Three distinct small RNA pathways operate in mammalian oocytes: RNAi interference (RNAi), the microRNA (miRNA) pathway, and the PIWI‐associated RNA (piRNA) pathway. These pathways use small RNAs to guide sequence‐specific repression and contribute to oocyte biology by targeting genes and mobile elements or appear insignificant since different ...

A History of Selected Topics in Categorical Algebra I: From Galois Theory to Abstract Commutators and Internal Groupoids [PDF]

open access: yesCategories and General Algebraic Structures with Applications, 2016
This paper is a chronological survey, with no proofs, of a direction in categorical algebra, which is based on categorical Galois theory and involves generalized central extensions, commutators, and internal groupoids in Barr exact Mal’tsev and more ...

On permutations and permutation polytopes [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
An easy characterization is given of neighbors on permutation polytopes. Using this characterization it is shown that the graph of any such polytope is Hamiltonian, and that the diameter is two.

On the sub-permutations of pattern avoiding permutations

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2014
There is a deep connection between permutations and trees. Certain sub-structures of permutations, called sub-permutations, bijectively map to sub-trees of binary increasing trees. This opens a powerful tool set to study enumerative and probabilistic properties of sub-permutations and to investigate the relationships between 'local' and 'global ...

Factorization of Permutations [PDF]

open access: yesThe Electronic Journal of Linear Algebra, 2015
The problem of factoring a permutation as a product of special types of transpositions, namely, those transpositions involving two positions with bounded distances, is considered. In particular, the minimum number, δ, such that every permutation can be factored into no more than δ special transpositions is investigated.

On $R$-conjugate-permutability of Sylow subgroups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
summary:A subgroup $H$ of a finite group $G$ is said to be conjugate-permutable if $HH^{g}=H^{g}H$ for all $g\in G$. More generaly, if we limit the element $g$ to a subgroup $R$ of $G$, then we say that the subgroup $H$ is $R$-conjugate-permutable.
