Some Tests of Permutation Symmetry
Summary. The two-sample sign test is viewed as a test for the permutation symmetry of a bivariate distribution, and extensions to k-variate distributions are sought. Friedman's rank test, [1], although originally intended as a substitute for the F-test in a two-way classification, is such an extension.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Classifier Selection with Permutation Tests
This work presents a content-based recommender system for machine learning classifier algorithms. Given a new data set, a recommendation of what classifier is likely to perform best is made based on classifier performance over similar known data sets.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

ON THE METHOD OF DETECTING CHANGES IN TREND USING PERMUTATION TESTS
This article presents a proposal of the test for detecting changes in trend. The proposed procedure refers to the permutation test. The use of this procedure allowed the adoption of fairly general assumptions.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Robust Two-Sample Permutation Tests
In this paper the author proposes a new robust two-sample permutation test (RPT) with data-dependent censoring for testing that the joint distribution of two samples is invariant under permutations. The test is shown to be asymptotically optimal against restricted fixed-width neighborhoods, since no other non-parametric test has a p-value with larger ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.
