Decoupling Photochemical and Photothermal Effects Using Molecular Motors Enables Fast, Intelligent, and Life‐Like Motions in Soft Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A light‐responsive liquid crystal (LC) polymer network integrating molecular rotary motors and photothermal converters enables the decoupling of photochemical and photothermal effects. Selective wavelength activation allows orthogonal control over persistent shape encoding and fast reversible motion, enabling programmable soft robots capable of complex

ОЦЕНКИ, СВЯЗАННЫЕ С ТЕОРЕМОЙ ШИРШОВА О ВЫСОТЕ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The paper is devoted to subexponential estimations in Shirshov’s Height theorem. A word W is n-divisible, if it can be represented in the following form: W = W0W1 · · · Wn such that W1 ≺ W2 ≺ · · · ≺ Wn.

An elementary proof that every singular matrix is a product of idempotent matrices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
In this note we give an elementary proof of a theorem first proved by J. A. Erdos [3]. This theorem, which is the main result of [3], states that every noninvertible n ⇥ n matrix is a finite product of matrices M with the property that M2 = M.

Caylerian polynomials [PDF]

open access: yes
The Eulerian polynomials enumerate permutations according to their number of descents. We initiate the study of descent polynomials over Cayley permutations, which we call Caylerian polynomials. Some classical results are generalized by linking Caylerian

Turning Water Into a Tool: From Degradation Pathways to Functional Engineering in Halide Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Water exhibits a threshold‐dependent dual role in lead halide perovskites, acting either as a degradation trigger or as a powerful tool for defect passivation, recrystallization, and structural engineering. This review discusses how controlled water‐mediated interactions govern stability, dimensionality, and optoelectronic performance, providing ...
