Photo-physical properties of lead-tin binary Perovskite thin films
>Magister Scientiae - MScOrganic-inorganic lead-based perovskite has exhibited great performance in the past few years. However, the lead (Pb) embedded in those compounds is a significant drawback to further progress, due to its environmental toxicity.

Phase‐Pure and Size‐Tunable Tin Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots
A trioctylphosphine oxide modulated protocol allows for the synthesis and study of the optical properties of a broad library of tin halide perovskite quantum dots across multiple A‐ and X‐site compositions with precise size tuning while eliminating unwanted 2D phases.

Mechanically origami‐coded 3D kirigami photovoltaics convert a single extension–release cycle into deterministic self‐folding, reconfiguring planar solar cells into programmable 3D modules. Distinct coding strategies enable either ultrahigh stretchability (500% system strain) or ultrahigh initial effective areal coverage (225%).

Thermal expansion of mantle minerals at high pressures - A theoretical study
Recent experimental work has shown that the pressure dependence of the thermal expansion coefficient can be expressed as: ( α / α 0 ) = ( ρ / ρ 0 ( - δ T ( 1 ) where δ_{T}, the Anderson‐Gruneisen parameter, is assumed to be independent of ...

A giant insulator to metal transition and emergent superparamagnetism are revealed by nanoparticle exsolution in non‐stoichiometric titanate perovskite thin films. By combining transport, synchrotron spectroscopy, and first‐principles calculations, this work reveals how defect reconfiguration and lattice reconstruction fundamentally reshape electronic ...
