Phase Transitions in Perovskite Solid Solutions with Incipient Ferroelectrics

Ferroelectrics, 2004
The impurity-induced ferroelectric phase transitions in incipient perovskite ferroelectrics are discussed along with improper ferroelastic phase transitions. It is shown that the critical concentration of impurities is proportional to 1/ϵ3/2 and that the ferroelectric phase transitions probably suppress ferroelastic transitions.

Mössbauer Studies of BiFeO3-PbTiO3 Perovskite-Type Solid Solutions

Journal of Applied Physics, 1971
The Mössbauer spectra of the ferroelectric solid solutions (BiFeO3)x(PbTiO3)1−x have been studied as a function of temperature, mainly between room temperature and 600°C, using 57Fe in the solutions as an absorber. The quadrupole splitting increased and the isomer shift decreased between x=0.05 and x=0.70, a range in which the solutions are tetragonal ...

Solid solution range of boron and properties of the perovskite-type NdRh3B

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2002
Abstract Polycrystalline samples of NdRh 3 B x have been synthesized by arc melting technique. The crystal structure of NdRh 3 B x is the perovskite-type cubic system (space group Pm 3 m ) for nominal boron concentration in the range of 0.706≤ x ≤1.000 (15–20 mol.% B). The lattice parameter a varies linearly from 0.41749(7) nm ( x =0.706)

Investigations on magnetically diluted KNixMg1–xF3 perovskite solid solution

Physica Status Solidi (a), 1988
The magnetic properties and EPR spectra of magnetically diluted KNixMg1−xF3 perovskite solid solutions are examined. The susceptibility measurements show that these compounds are isotropic antiferromagnetic materials at high nickel concentrations. A critical concentration is found to be x = 0.4.

Magnetic exchange interactions in perovskite solid solutions. Part 3. Tin-119 Mössbauer spectra of doped iron perovskite solid solutions

J. Chem. Soc., Dalton Trans., 1983
A detailed study has been made of supertransferred hyperfine field (s.t.h.f.) effects at 119Sn doped into various perovskites with the formula (A0.95Ca0.05)(Fe0.85M0.10Sn0.05)O3 with A = La, Eu, or Lu and M = Al, Ga, Sc, Cr, Mn, Co, or Ni. The observed s.t.h.f.

Oxyhydrides of (Ca,Sr,Ba)TiO3 Perovskite Solid Solutions

Inorganic Chemistry, 2012
The oxyhydride solid solutions (Ca,Sr)TiO(3-x)H(x) and (Sr,Ba)TiO(3-x)H(x) have been prepared by reducing the corresponding ATiO(3) oxides with calcium hydride. Under the reaction conditions examined, a hydride content of x = 0.1-0.3 was obtained for all compositions. Compared to our previous result with BaTiO(3-x)H(x), the larger particle size in this

Nonstoichiometry of the perovskite-type solid solution La0.9Ca0.1Cr1−Al O3−

Solid State Ionics, 2006
Abstract Nonstoichiometry of the perovskite-type solid solutions La0.9Ca0.1Cr1−yAlyO3−δ was studied by high-temperature gravimetry under controlled P(O2) atmospheres of 1–10− 23 bar at 1073–1273 K. The observed data were described by a regular solution-like model for the randomly distributed defects of VO¨ , CrCr. , CaLa,, and AlCrX.

Phase transitions in ferroelectric solid solutions of complex perovskites

Ferroelectrics, 1989
Abstract The phenomenological theory of ferro- and antiferroelectric solid solutions is proposed taking into account the possibility of compositional order variation. Complex perovskites AB′0.5B″0.5O3 where one of the cations is substituted are considered.

Catalytic oxidation of CO on LaMn1−xFexO3 perovskites solid solution

Journal of Molecular Catalysis A: Chemical, 2014
Abstract Catalytic CO oxidation was studied over LaMn1−xFexO3 perovskites prepared by co-precipitation and rotor-vapor citrate method. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Transmission electron microscope (TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
