Stability of organometal perovskites with organic overlayers

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2015
The air-stability of vapour-phase-deposited methylammonium lead triiodide (CH3NH3PbI3) perovskite thin films has been studied using X-ray diffraction. It is found that the perovskite structure without organic coating decomposes completely within a short ...

CaSiO3 perovskite at lower mantle pressures

open access: yes, 2005
We investigate by first-principles the structural behavior of CaSiO3 perovskite up to lower mantle pressures. We confirm that the cubic perovskite modification is unstable at all pressures.

OPTIMIZATION OF THE PEROVSKITE SOLAR CELL STRUCTURE

open access: yesInformation and communication technologies, electronic engineering
An experimental perovskite solar cell (PSC) with the structure Au/Spiro-MeOTAD/CH3NH3PbI3/PEDOT:PSS/ITO was fabricated. The measurements of main photovoltaic characteristics were provided. The current-voltage dependences (I-V curves) were measured conducted in the voltage range from -1V to 1V.

Controlled Engineering of 2D Alkali‐Iron‐Chloride Compounds and Lateral Quantum Heterostructures Within Confined Graphene Nanoreactors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents a programmable atomic engineering strategy for 2D materials using Å‐scale nanoreactors formed by bilayer graphene (BLG) intercalation. A new class of alkali‐iron‐chloride compounds, along with lateral heterostructures composed of monolayer alkali halides and iron chlorides, is revealed.

Giant Magnetic Coercivity Driven by Spin‐Bag Ferromagnetism in Epitaxial Sr3YCo4O10+δ Films with Engineered 2D Oxygen Vacancy Ordering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A giant magnetic coercivity and a vertical shift of hysteresis loops are demonstrated in Sr3YCo4O10+δ epitaxial films. The hard magnetic behavior originates from ferromagnetic spin bags stabilized within a long‐range ordered oxygen‐vacancy structure.
