3SD: Rotational symmetry single‐shot denoising in fluorescence microscopy
Abstract Image noise is a fundamental problem in fluorescence microscopy analysis, especially in live cell imaging applications where the number of detected photons is limited due to low power of excitation lasers to prevent phototoxicity during extended imaging experiments.

Einstein–Perrin dilemma on the Brownian motion (Avogadro’s number) resolved?
AbstractThe general recognition of the existence of atoms and molecules occurred only at the beginning of the twentieth century. Many researchers contributed to this, but the ultimate proof of the molecular nature of matter that convinced even the last sceptics was the confirmation of Albert Einstein’s statistical-fluctuation theory of Brownian motion,

The 2-adic valuation of shifted Padovan and Perrin numbers and applications
The Padovan sequence is the ternary recurrent sequence \((P_n)_{n\ge 0}\) given by the recurrence \(P_{n+3}=P_{n+1}+P_n\) of initial values \(P_0=P_1=P_2=1\). The Perron numbers \((R_n)_{n\ge 0}\) satisfy the same recurrence but have initial values \(R_0=3,~R_1=0,~R_2=2\).

ABSTRACT Large‐scale irrigation schemes are central to agrarian transformation in sub‐Saharan Africa, yet their political implications are often reduced to questions of land redistribution or agrarian differentiation. Although existing scholarship has documented how irrigation restructures agrarian relations and generates dispossession, less attention ...

Repdigits base $ \eta $ as sum or product of Perrin and Padovan numbers
<p>Let $ \left\{E_{n}\right\}_{n\geq0} $ and $ \left\{P_{n}\right\}_{n\geq0} $ be sequences of Perrin and Padovan numbers, respectively. We have found all repdigits that can be written as the sum or product of $ E_{n} $ and $ P_{m} $ in the base $ \eta $, where $ 2\leq\eta\leq10 $ and $ m\leq n $.

Early Labor Market Outcomes of Young Adults From Same‐Sex Families: Evidence From Population Data
ABSTRACT Objective This study offers the first population‐based evidence on how young adults from same‐sex families fare when entering the labor market shortly after leaving full‐time education. Background Same‐sex couples' parenting rights remain controversial in many countries.

How Mental Concepts Shape Sleep: Introducing the Mental Concept Reactivation Hypothesis of Sleep
ABSTRACT Sleep problems affect a substantial proportion of individuals, and negative thoughts, rumination, and worry are considered key factors underlying persistence and severity. While extensive research has examined how these states disrupt sleep before falling asleep, much less is known about how mental concepts, including thoughts, expectations ...

On the Non-Newtonian Padovan and Non-Newtonian Perrin Numbers
In this work, we introduce a novel version of Padovan and Perrin numbers which we refer to as non-Newtonian Padovan and non-Newtonian Perrin numbers. Furthermore, we examine about a number of their properties. Additionally, we provide a variety of identities and formulas involving these new kinds, including the Binet-like formulas, the generating ...

Informal Human Milk Sharing Practices: A Cross‐Sectional Survey of Donors and Recipients in Ireland
ABSTRACT The provision of human milk is a global public health priority underpinned by its extensive benefits to infant and maternal health, and significant positive impacts within economic, societal, and environmental spheres. Informal human milk sharing (IHMS) is a contemporary and increasingly prevalent phenomenon which involves the exchange of ...

Padovan numbers which are concatenations of three Padovan or Perrin numbers
This paper presents all Padovan numbers that can be written as the concatenation of three Padovan or Perrin numbers under a certain constraint. Namely, we consider the Diophantine equations \[ P_{k}=10^{d+l}P_{m}+10^{l}P_{n}+P_{r} \] and \[ P_{k}=10^{d+l}R_{m}+10^{l}R_{n}+R_{r} \] where k, m, n, r, d and l are positive integers satisfying n ≤ m.
