NIPPON SHOKUHIN KAGAKU KOGAKU KAISHI, 2003 クスノキ科のアボカド(Persea americana Mill.)の種子のメタノール抽出物0.1mg/mL溶液の抗酸化活性をリノール酸メチルの過酸化抑制を指標に測定したところ,酢酸エチル可溶性非酸性画分と酢酸エチル可溶性酸性画分に非常に高い抗酸化活性がみられた.非酸性画分より活性成分を単離し,各種機器分析により,既知物質(+)-カテキンと(-)-エピカテキンを同定した.
