The core of games on distributive lattices : how to share benefits in a hierarchy [PDF]

open access: yes
Finding a solution concept is one of the central problems in cooperative game theory, and the notion of core is the most popular solution concept since it is based on some rationality condition.

The Foulds hierarchy of personal illness: A review of recent research

open access: yesComprehensive Psychiatry, 1987
Abstract Classification in psychiatry has often neglected to investigate certain important aspects of taxonomy, such as principles of hierarchy and inclusion. One of the few classifications which have addressed these issues is one proposed by Graham Foulds during the mid-1970s.

Deciphering the personalized functional redundancy hierarchy in the gut microbiome

open access: yesMicrobiome
Functional redundancy (FR) in the human gut microbiome is crucial for maintaining stability and resilience, exhibiting a hierarchical structure. However, the precise configuration and functional implications of this hierarchy remain elusive and limited by single-metric measurements.

Personality Behavior In A Hierarchy Based On Mutual Perceptions

open access: yesEuropean Proceedings of Social and Behavioural Sciences, 2020
Based on the analysis of management practices and the context of operational decision-making in a number of commercial and state organizations, the concept of mutual perception of people occupying positions in the hierarchical structure is formulated. The potential dynamics of the values of the personal and social aspects of perceptions is established.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

The neural basis of bounded rational behavior [PDF]

open access: yes
Bounded rational behaviour is commonly observed in experimental games and in real life situations. Neuroeconomics can help to understand the mental processing underlying bounded rationality and out-of-equilibrium behaviour.

A Hierarchical Integration of Person-Centered Comorbidity Models: Structure, Stability, and Transition Over Time

open access: yes, 2017
Person-centered analyses of mental disorder comorbidity typically identify a single optimal latent group structure. We took an alternate approach, modeling every estimable comorbidity class model in a nationally representative sample ( N = 34,653) and ...

An Experimental High‐Throughput Approach for the Screening of Hard Magnet Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An entire workflow for the high‐throughput characterization and analysis of compositionally graded magnetic films is presented. Characterization protocols, data management tools and data analysis approaches are illustrated with test case Sm(Fe, V)12 based films.
