Trichomes in Plant Defence, Development and Metabolic Integration Under Environmental Stress

open access: yesPlant, Cell &Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Among various plant defence strategies, trichomes are tiny hair‐like structures on the epidermis that aid in defence, environmental adaptation and the production of valuable secondary metabolites. This review features trichomes as frontline guards for plant survival, integrating their structural, physiological and metabolic roles in ...

Short‐Term Effect of Air Pollutants on Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy: A Case‐Crossover Study Based on the French National Registry

open access: yesPaediatric and Perinatal Epidemiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Sudden unexpected death in infancy (SUDI) remains poorly understood, and the potential contribution of air pollution exposure is largely unexplored. Given its known impact on infant health, air pollution may influence the risk of SUDI, particularly through short‐term effects.

Chlorantraniliprole Formulation Poisoning: A Signal for Cardiac Conduction Abnormalities

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Chlorantraniliprole poisoning is rarely reported in humans. A 25‐year‐old man developed sinus bradycardia and first‐degree atrioventricular block after ingesting a chlorantraniliprole 18.5% suspension concentrate formulation. Laboratory investigations were unremarkable, and ECG abnormalities resolved within 72 h with supportive care.
