Neurovascular Contacts in the Pathophysiology of Neuralgic Amyotrophy: An Observational Study
ABSTRACT Objective Neuralgic amyotrophy (NA) is a prevalent, monophasic, multifocal immune‐mediated neuropathy. A distinctive characteristic of the disease is the occurrence of nerve or fascicle constrictions and torsions (NA‐associated focal nerve lesions, NAFL). The pathophysiology underlying this phenomenon remains to be fully elucidated.

Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.

4-D Tomographic Inference: Application to SPECT and MR-driven PET
Emission tomographic imaging is framed in the Bayesian and information theoretic framework. The first part of the thesis is inspired by the new possibilities offered by PET-MR systems, formulating models and algorithms for 4-D tomography and for the ...

Development of the G3 Designed ankyrin repeat protein (DARPin) for HER2 imaging
Background: Human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2) expression predicts response to anti-HER2 therapy in breast and gastric cancer. HER2 status is assessed by tumour biopsy but this may not be representative of the larger tumour mass or other ...

Early Recognition of Treatment‐Responsive Rapidly Progressive Dementia: The Modified STAM3mP Score
ABSTRACT Early identification of patients with treatment‐responsive rapidly progressive dementia (RPD) is important as early treatment improves outcomes. The STAM3P score identifies treatment‐responsive RPD using “high risk” presenting features. We optimized performance by adding a time component (i.e., dementia within 3 months) and validated the ...
