Trypanosoma magdalenae sp. n (Protozoa: Kinetoplastida) from a freshwater teleost, Petenia kraussii, in Colombia.

A new, monomorphic trypanosome, Trypanosoma magdalenae sp. n. was found in five of 38 fish, Petenia kraussii, from the Río Magdalena in Colombia, South America.
