Electroless Plating of PLA and PETG for 3D Printed Flexible Substrates
The NiP and Cu electroless metallization of 3D printed polymers is presented. The plating process is tested on suitable samples, which reproduce the printing morphologies used in the 3d printing of objects. An alkaline etching is used for both the polymers in order to modify the surface properties and enhance the adhesion and uniformity of the metallic

Experimental and numerical framework for characterizing the thermomechanical response of polylactic acid fabricated by fused filament fabrication. ABSTRACT This study investigates the thermomechanical response of polylactic acid (PLA) specimens fabricated by fused filament fabrication (FFF) at two nozzle temperatures (190°C and 230°C), while mechanical

ABSTRACT Objective Traditional biocompatibility assessments primarily address cytotoxicity and bulk material properties but often overlook molecular responses that occur below toxicity thresholds. Detecting these subtle effects is crucial for materials intended for prolonged contact with human tissues.

Preparation and Properties of PETG Filament Modified with a Metallic Additive
The materials used as filaments for additive techniques should exhibit various properties depending on the application and the requirements. The motivation for this study was the need to obtain a filament exhibiting appropriate aesthetic (metal-like) and mechanical properties.
