Extruder‐based 3D printing of eco‐friendly polymers
Eco‐friendly polymers, such as biodegradable and recycled materials, offer significant potential for the production of high‐quality 3D‐printed components, provided that their properties and characteristics meet the requirements of extruder‐based 3D printing.

Impact of Packaging and Recycling Systems on Material Recirculation: A Stage‐Decomposition Model
A system‐level view emerges from decomposing recycling into four stages (participation, collection, sorting and process yield), diagnosing constraints and targeting interventions. Cumulative equivalent uses (CEUs) quantify long‐term retention, revealing marginal improvements at high baselines generate disproportionately larger gains than low‐baseline ...

The effect of glass fiber reinforcement on the thermal properties of PETG [PDF]
In the additive manufacturing industry, many polymer composites have properties - thermal and mechanical - that are unknown. The purpose of this study was to determine the key thermal properties of Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG) with and ...

FieldDino: Rapid In‐Field Stomatal Anatomy and Physiology Phenotyping
ABSTRACT Stomatal anatomy and physiology define CO2 availability for photosynthesis and regulate plant water use. Despite being key drivers of yield and dynamic responsiveness to abiotic stresses, conventional measurement techniques of stomatal traits are laborious and slow, limiting adoption in plant breeding.

AbstractThe solubility of CO2 in PETG, a glycol‐modified PET, was measured at different temperatures and over a broad pressure range, and diffusion coefficients were derived at the corresponding conditions. The solubility of CO2 is quits high. For example, almost 15 wt% CO2 can be dissolved in PETG at 35°C and 6.0 MPa. Consequently, CO2 is good blowing

Following extrusion at 265°C, components underwent a 45‐min annealing process at temperatures from 145°C to 225°C. The results show that increasing the annealing temperature elevates the onset of thermal softening, significantly enhancing thermal reliability.
