Influence of Annealing Temperature on the Thermomechanical Properties and Dimensional Stability of FFF‐Printed PET‐CF

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Following extrusion at 265°C, components underwent a 45‐min annealing process at temperatures from 145°C to 225°C. The results show that increasing the annealing temperature elevates the onset of thermal softening, significantly enhancing thermal reliability.

Influence of Infill Structure Shape and Density on the Mechanical Properties of FDM 3D-Printed PETG and PETG+CF Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Technologies & Materials
This paper investigates the impact of infill structure shape and density on the mechanical properties of Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D-printed materials, specifically PETG and PETG reinforced with carbon fibers (PETG+CF). The research aims to optimize additive manufacturing processes by examining how different infill geometries—hexagonal ...

Analysis of the Elastic Behavior of Selected Types of Plastic Materials Used in 3D Printing

open access: yesMacromolecular Symposia, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article analyzes the elastic behavior of 3D printed plastic materials, using FDM technology, to understand how they react to mechanical compressive stresses and to determine the limits of reversible deformation. In this research, a series of compression tests were performed on specimens made of five types of plastics: ABS (acrylonitrile ...
