Chemical Recycling as a Tool for Enabling a Second Life for Polyesters
This review presents the elucidation of the life cycle of main polyesters, detailing end‐of‐life methods, with focus of solvolysis technologies, then an analysis of LCA and TEA on literature data, an original data analytic, and, finally, a current industrial mapping of the main processes with a critical perspective on the plastic life‐cycle ecosystem ...

A Comparative Investigation of PETG Material Using Experimental and Simulation-Based Methods
Objectives: The primary objective of this research article is to compare the mechanical properties of polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) with other commonly used 3D printing materials. The study focuses on conducting a comparative evaluation of PETG based on its tensile and flexural properties through practical laboratory testing, followed by ...

FieldDino: Rapid In‐Field Stomatal Anatomy and Physiology Phenotyping
ABSTRACT Stomatal anatomy and physiology define CO2 availability for photosynthesis and regulate plant water use. Despite being key drivers of yield and dynamic responsiveness to abiotic stresses, conventional measurement techniques of stomatal traits are laborious and slow, limiting adoption in plant breeding.

A Comparative Analysis of the Climate Impact Assessment of 3D Printing Materials [PDF]
3D printing, technically called additive manufacturing, has high hopes of being material-efficient toward sustainable production potential. The printing material significantly changes the total environmental effect of the process itself.

Characterization of PC-ABS and PETG Multi-Material Laminates Fabricated by MEX Method
Material-extrusion (MEX) printing with automated filament switching enables single-build multi-material laminates, but interfaces between dissimilar polymers may govern failure. Here, monolithic PETG, monolithic PC–ABS, and an alternating PETG/PC–ABS laminate (COMP) with 0.2 mm laminae (4 mm total) were fabricated and benchmarked.
