First Report of Phaeoacremonium mortoniae Causing Petri Disease of Grapevine in Spain
In May 2006, symptoms of grapevine decline were observed on 4-year-old grapevines (cv. Cabernet Sauvignon) grafted onto 110 R rootstock in Daimiel (Ciudad Real Province, central Spain). Affected vines had low vigor, reduced foliage, and chlorotic leaves. Cross or longitudinal sections of the rootstock trunk showed black spots and dark streaking of the

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Release of cholesterol-rich particles from the macrophage plasma membrane during movement of filopodia and lamellipodia. [PDF]
Cultured mouse peritoneal macrophages release large numbers of ~30-nm cholesterol-rich particles. Here, we show that those particles represent fragments of the plasma membrane that are pulled away and left behind during the projection and retraction of ...
