Advanced Science, EarlyView.In the context of chronic hyperglycemia, a DDR is initiated, leading to the pathological activation of DNA‐PKcs in the diabetic heart. This activated DNA‐PKcs directly interacts with and phosphorylates YAP1 at Thr226, thereby increasing the nuclear expression of YAP1.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Diallyl trisulfides (DATs) selectively induce cuproptosis in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) by targeting Ras‐related protein Rab‐18 (RAB18) and regulating lipophagy. DATs promote RAB18 phase separation, enhance mitochondrial‐associated membrane structures (MAMs) formation, and increase succinylation of dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLD) at K320.

Genomic and Cis‐Regulatory Basis of a Plastic C3‐C4 Photosynthesis in Eleocharis Baldwinii
Advanced Science, EarlyView.The sedge Eleocharis baldwinii remarkably switches between C3‐like and C4‐like photosynthesis in response to environmental conditions. Combining gap‐free genome assembly with single‐cell multi‐omics, this study uncovers how subgenome dominance and cell‐specific cis‐regulation enable C4 photosynthesis.
