Profiling the Anti‐Photoaging Impact of Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles: A Focus on Signaling Pathways

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 39, Issue 9, 15 May 2025.
UV wavelengths from solar light trigger signaling pathways in dermal fibroblasts that accelerate photoaging. RNAseq analysis revealed that signaling pathways relating to the cell cycle, ECM remodeling, and inflammation were significantly activated or inactivated 24 h post‐irradiation.

Bee Better: The Role of Honey in Modern Wound Care

open access: yesAdvanced Therapeutics, Volume 8, Issue 5, May 2025.
The use of honey as a wound care agent is controversial but paradoxically increasingly popular. Honey possesses relevant antimicrobial properties and can modulate the immune system. The wound healing properties of honey likely depend on its composition and varies across wound types.
