Climate Change Projected to Double the Richness and Abundance of Soilborne Phytopathogenic Fungi in Southern Maritime Antarctica

open access: yesGlobal Change Biology, Volume 32, Issue 5, May 2026.
We sequenced fungal DNA in barren soils sampled from 12 sites along a 1900‐km transect through sub‐ and Maritime Antarctica and Patagonia.
