Effects of Light Quality on Vegetative Growth and Flower Initiation in Phalaenopsis

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Biotechnology, 2014
The effects of LEDs (Light-Emitting Diodes) emitting different colours namely red, blue, red and blue, and white lights on vegetative growth and fl ower initiation of Phalaenopsis have been evaluated. Phalaenopsis“otohine/taisuco fi re bird” seedlings in

open access: yesOrnamental Horticulture, 1996

Effects of activated charcoal on plantlet quality of Phalaenopsis and components of the gaseous environment in vitro

open access: yes, 2014
The study was to seek effects of ...

Genome-Wide Identification of DREB Transcription Factor Family and Functional Analysis of PaDREB1D Associated with Low-Temperature Stress in Phalaenopsis aphrodite

open access: yesHorticulturae
Low temperatures are the most significant abiotic stressor for the conservation and production of Phalaenopsis in non-tropical areas. CBF/DREB1 transcription factors play an important role in the plant abiotic stress response.

Mycorrhizal symbiosis enhances Phalaenopsis orchid's growth and resistance to Erwinia chrysanthemi

open access: yes, 2012
[[abstract]]"Phalaenopsis is the most important potted orchid genus in the world. However, the low seedling survival rate, long vegetative growth period and disease outbreak are problems in production.
