Pot‐Economical Synthesis of Fluorinated Pyrrolizinone Derivatives
Advanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.Abstract A new family of fluorinated dihydropyrrolizinones has been synthesized starting from fluorinated enamino amides and aliphatic conjugated ketones. The reaction comprises a cross metathesis reaction followed by a tandem cycloaromatization/ enamine hydrolysis/ intramolecular Friedel‐Crafts alkylation sequence.

Non‐Invasive Diagnosis of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy by Breath
Advanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.The use of sensor technologies for the diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) by identification of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in breath samples. By combining gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (GC‐MS) and electronic nose (eNose) platforms, specific VOC patterns associated with HCM are detected and analyzed.

Enhanced Epithelial Cell Uptake of Glycol Chitosan‐Coated PLGA Nanoparticles for Oral Drug Delivery
Advanced Therapeutics, EarlyView.Here, glycol chitosan (GC)‐coated PLGA NPs are developed to enhance oral drug delivery by enabling dual‐pathway endocytosis via clathrin‐ and caveolae‐mediated mechanisms. Alginate layering coating on GC‐PLGA further improves oral insulin delivery, achieving sustained glucose reduction in diabetic mice.
