Simultaneous Wireless Power and Information Transfer Based on Phase-Shift Modulation in ICPT System

IEEE transactions on energy conversion, 2021
Compared to traditional simultaneous wireless power and information transfer (SWPIT) technologies, communication technology utilizing the output harmonic component of an inverter as a signal carrier can achieve high-performance signal transmission ...

Phase-shifting interferometry by wave amplitude modulation

Optics Letters, 2011
A new method for phase-shifting interferometry based on wave amplitude modulation is proposed and discussed. This proposal is based on the interference of three waves, where two waves attend as two reference waves and the other wave attends as a probe wave.

Triple Phase Shift Modulation Scheme of DAB Converter with LCL Resonant Tank

IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification, 2021
In this article, an optimized triple-phase shift (TPS) modulation scheme is proposed for the dual active bridge (DAB) converter with an inductor-capacitor-inductor (LCL) resonant tank.

A Novel Three-level Phase-Shift Modulation for Serial Half Bridge LLC Resonant Converter

Applied Power Electronics Conference, 2021
In this paper, a novel three-level phase-shift modulation is proposed for serial half bridge (SHB) LLC resonant converter. The proposed modulation is capable of balancing current stress for all switches to realize balanced thermal stress and their longer

Linear Measuring Phase Shift Module

2019 International Multi-Conference on Industrial Engineering and Modern Technologies (FarEastCon), 2019
The article describes design of a linear measuring phase shift module with a nonuniform running magnetic field developed by the authors. The developed phase shift module is intended for use in information and measurement systems for linear displacement.

Phase-shifted linear partial-response modulation

Proceedings of 1995 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2002
Partial-response modulations are widely used for spectrum shaping and bandwidth reduction. Linear partial-response signaling (PRS) is a well-known form of linear coded modulation which was proposed by Lender (1963). Due to the lack of efficient algorithms for maximum likelihood detection the research on the subject concentrated on the simplest forms of

Alternating Asymmetrical Phase-Shift Modulation for Full-Bridge Converters with Balanced Switching Losses to Reduce Thermal Imbalances

Applied Power Electronics Conference, 2021
Phase-shift modulated full bridge converters suffer from thermal imbalances of the inverter switches. The lagging leg switches are subject to larger commutation currents compared to those of the leading leg as the transformer current reduces in the ...

94 GHz phase-shift-keying modulator

International Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 1996
This paper describes a kind of low insertion loss phase-shift-keying modulators used in 94GHz digital communications systems. A BPSK modulator with a insertion loss lower than 3.8dB has been achieved by connecting a circulator and a fin-line PIN diode phase shifter in series. The bandwidth is 2.5GHz given a phase error of ±50.

Pulsewidth modulator phase shift

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 1980
Phase shift for the ramp-comparator pulsewidth modulator (PWM) between a continuous input control signal and the signal frequency component of the output is analyzed. It is shown that transport lag is not implicit to these PWM systems in general but rather depends upon the existence of explicit delays between the time at which a switching decision is ...

Hyper Phase Shift Keying (HPSK) Modulation

2007 Conference Record of the Forty-First Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, 2007
A new modulation technique that uses four orthonormal basis functions is proposed. Using four orthonormal basis functions provides an advantage over most traditional modulation techniques such as quadrature phase shift keying and quadrature amplitude modulation that only possess two degrees of freedom.
