The development of a multi-frequency electromagnetic instrument for monitoring the phase transformation of hot strip steel. [PDF]
This paper describes the development of an instrument to analyze the phase transformations of hot strip steel using an electromagnetic sensor. The sensor exploits variations in the electrical conductivity and magnetic permeability of the steel to monitor

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Injecting liquid CO2 into coal seam boreholes is an effective measure to improve CH4 extraction efficiency. We established a physical model for CO2 phase change displacement of coal seam CH4 based on the actual injection process in boreholes.

This article proposes a highly sensitive single-frequency microwave sensor for dielectric characterization of solids and liquids. The sensor is a reflective-mode one-port device consisting of a step-impedance microstrip line terminated with a slot resonator (the sensing element) transversely etched on the ground plane.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Development of sensitive elements based on photochromic bacteriorhodopsin for fibre optic sensors [PDF]
This work focuses on the development of sensitive elements incorporating bacteriorhodopsin thin films for fibre optic sensors. The sensing principle is based on monitoring optical properties of the bacteriorhodopsin thin films during changes of ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.
