Detailed analysis of a phase ADC
Proceedings of 2010 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2010This paper presents for the first time a theoretical study of the second order effects of a 4-bit Phase-domain Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) circuit for QPSK demodulation and analyzes its benefits and drawbacks. The study encompasses the phase resolution, dynamic range and robustness of this circuit to circuit non-idealities and noise. Our analysis

Automated Analysis of Phase Diagrams
2017 14th IAPR International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR), 2017We present a study on automated analysis of phase diagrams to aid the materials science community that attempts to lay the groundwork for a large-scale, searchable, digitized database of phases of a wide variety of materials at different physical conditions and compositions.

Analysis of Phase Distribution in Phase-Change Nonvolatile Memories
IEEE Electron Device Letters, 2004The phase transformation in chalcogenide-based nonvolatile memories is studied by cell electrical characterization. The cell state (amorphous, crystalline, or mixed) is changed by applying electrical pulses, then the cell resistance R and the current-voltage characteristics are measured.

Independent Phase Analysis: Separating Phase-Locked Subspaces
2010We present a two-stage algorithm to perform blind source separation of sources organized in subspaces, where sources in different subspaces have zero phase synchrony and sources in the same subspace have full phase synchrony. Typical separation techniques such as ICA are not adequate for such signals, because phase-locked signals are not independent ...

So here we are. You’ve run an experiment and collected the evidence. Now comes the important part—learning from what you’ve discovered. If you don’t take the time to learn—to interpret the results of an experiment and understand its implications—then everything you’ve read previous to this has been for nothing.

Analysis of the phase unwrapping algorithm
Applied Optics, 1982Several workers have recently proposed digital techniques for high-resolution imaging through the turbulent atmosphere. The basic concept of these algorithms is to calculate and average phase angles of a series of image Fourier transforms to suppress the unwanted atmospheric effects on image resolution.

Improving the quality of the analysis phase
Journal of Systems and Software, 2000Abstract This paper discusses three techniques for improving the quality of the Systems Analysis phase. These techniques are simple, easy, and effective. However, they require a shift from parochial self-reliance to an opportunistic and open-minded use of outside resources.

Chemical phase-analysis for kyanites
Talanta, 1978A new method is presented for determining the kyanite present in a refractory aluminium silicate rock. The sample is digested with hydrofluoric acid for 2-3 hr, the excess of acid is removed or complexed and the residue is filtered off, dried and weighed. The residue is the undissolved kyanite and any topaz and tourmaline present.

Analysis of single-phase-to-3-phase static phase converters
Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, Part II: Applications and Industry, 1956A static phase converter is a device which supplies polyphase power to a load from a single-phase power source using only passive circuit elements. Ideally such a device should produce balanced polyphase voltages at the load. Several recent articles1,2,3 have been published concerning the operation of 3-phase induction motors connected through static ...
