Optimal Control for Vienna Rectifier in Unbalanced Conditions
The Vienna rectifier is a widely adopted solution for high-power rectification due to its efficiency and straightforward design. However, its performance can degrade under unbalanced three-phase voltage conditions, leading to current zero-crossing ...

Powder Optimization Strategies for Binder Jetting Printing of BaTiO3 and Ba0,6Sr0,4TiO3 Ceramics
Powder optimization is investigated to enable binder jetting of BaTiO3 and Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 ferroelectric ceramics. The antagonistic relationship between flowability and binder compatibility is addressed through binder impregnation of granulated powders and fumed silica addition to fine powders.

Squared error as a measure of perceived phase distortion
Based on two well-known auditory models, it is investigated whether the squared error between an original signal and a phase-distorted signal is a perceptually relevant measure for distortions in the Fourier phase spectrum of periodic signals obtained ...

Evaluating Energy Absorption Performance of Filled Lattice Structures
Maximum stress must be considered to robustly evaluate energy absorber designs. This approach was applied to compare all types of absorbers in a single Ashby diagram and determine the utility of filling lattice voids with a second material. High‐performance fillers can improve the performance of lattices that are limited by buckling or catastrophic ...

Camera Distortion Calibration through Fringe Pattern Phase Analysis
The goal of this thesis is to use fringe-pattern phase analysis to calibrate the distortion of a camera lens. The benefit of using this method is that the distortion can be calculated using data from each individual pixel and the methodology does not ...

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.
