Phase-field modelling for atoms
The application of phase-field modelling has been expanded into smaller and smaller-scale phenomena. However, phase-field modelling with a single atomic resolution has not been proposed so far. Here, we have developed atomic-scale phase-field modelling, that is, phase-field modelling for single atoms. We found that our modelling successfully reproduced

PhaFiDyn: An explicit dynamic phase field damage model implementation
Predicting the critical load that structures can sustain and the right crack path is an important scientific and practical issue. This reason is the trigger for the appearance of the damage mechanics.

Thermo-gaseous-mechanical coupling phase-field model for brittle crack propagation in tungsten
Modeling of crack deflection/penetration as intergranular/transgranular fracture in the polycrystal under the coupled thermo-gaseous-mechanical multi-physics field has long been a challenge for both fracture mechanics and materials science.
