Phase Field Simulation of Solidified Multiple Grains
Advanced Materials Research, 2012A phase-field model based on the Ginzburg-Landan theory and KKS model is used to simulate the dendrite growth of multiple grains for Al-Cu alloy. The influence of solidification latent heat and undercooling on the growth of equiaxed dendrite, solute distribution and temperature distribution were studied.

Phase Field Simulation of Ferroelectric Single Crystals
Aerospace, 2005Ferroelectric materials exhibit spontaneous polarization and domain structures below the Curie temperature. In this study a cubic to tetragonal phase transformation and the evolution of domain structures in ferroelectric crystals are simulated by using the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau equation.

Phase Field Crystal Simulator (PFC_Simulator).

Phase field simulations of the ferroelectric materials
2016In the PhD research, phase field simulations were conducted to study the polarization behavior and properties of ferroelectric materials. Four aspects of ferroelectric materials were simulated, which are 1) electrocaloric effect, 2) the influence of dislocation walls, 3) fracture; and 4) the influence of {111} twins.

A phase field approach for two phase flow simulations
2005A phase-field approach is presented for the numerical simulation of two fluid forced flow in channels. The difference in physical properties of the two components is handled following a quasi-incompressible approach (J. Lowengrub and L. Truskinovsky, Proc. R. Soc. Lond. A, 1998).
