In this work, the synthesis of Mo–Ti–Ta–Cr alloy powders via the calciothermic reduction (CTR) of MoO3, TiO2, Ta2O5, and Cr2O3 was investigated. The synthesis process was supported by thermodynamic calculations and TG–DSC thermal analysis.
