A wideband low RCS and high gain phase gradient metalens antenna

AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2021
A wideband low RCS but high gain phase gradient metalens antenna (PGMA) is proposed in this paper. The proposed PGMA is comprised of 3 layers of phase gradient metasurface (PGM) as inhomogeneous special metalens structure (PGML) which are fed by a ...

pH Gradient Reversed-Phase HPLC

Analytical Chemistry, 2003
pH gradient HPLC is reported, which is a new original mode of reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography applicable to ionogenic analytes. The method consists of programmed increase during the chromatographic run of the eluting strength of the mobile phase with respect to the acid/base analytes separated.

Reverberant shear wave phase gradients for elastography

Physics in Medicine & Biology, 2021
Abstract Reverberant shear wave fields are produced when multiple sources and multiple reflections establish a complex three-dimensional wave field within an organ. The expected values are assumed to be isotropic across all directions and the autocorrelation functions for velocity are expressed in terms of ...

Dual-Band Beam-Scanning Antenna Using Rotatable Planar Phase Gradient Transmitarrays

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2020
A design of dual-band beam-scanning antenna using rotatable planar transmitarrays (TAs) is proposed in this communication. The antenna is composed of a dual-band lens and a pair of linear phase gradient (PG) TAs.

Phase Behavior of Gradient Copolymers

Macromolecules, 2008
A multiblock model is developed for the study of the phase behavior of gradient copolymers. The model is able to describe gradient copolymer chains with arbitrary composition profiles. The validity of the multiblock model of gradient copolymers is established by good agreement between RPA (random phase approximation) results for a continuous ...

Phase behavior of gradient copolymers

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1999
Phase properties of gradient AB copolymer melts which consist of chains with the specified chemical distribution of A and B monomers have been studied within the Landau–Ginzburg model. All the melts with the linear distribution of the monomers exhibit only a direct continuous phase transition from disordered to the lamellar phase.

Beam Tilting Approaches Based on Phase Gradient Surface for mmWave Antennas

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2020
This article presents four different approaches utilized in beam tilting that are based on the phase gradient (phase shifting) surfaces. Each approach is individually analyzed and then compared to other techniques.
