A Lag Angle Compensation Strategy of Phase Current for High-Speed BLDC Motors
For brushless dc motor operating at ideal commutation point, the angle of the phase current vector will lag behind that of the back electromotive force (EMF) vector due to the motor phase inductance.

Phase lag entropy as a hypnotic depth indicator during propofol sedation
Phase lag entropy, an electro‐encephalography‐based hypnotic depth indicator, calculates diversity in temporal patterns of phase relationship. We compared the performance of phase lag entropy with the bispectral index™ in 30 patients scheduled for ...

Population genomics unravels a lag phase during the global fall armyworm invasion
The time that elapsed between the initial introduction and the proliferation of an invasive species is referred to as the lag phase. The identification of the lag phase is critical for generating plans for pest management and for the prevention of ...

From Adult to Adolescent: Alignment in Clinical Trials and Outcomes in Axial Spondyloarthritis
Spondyloarthritis (SpA) is a group of chronic inflammatory diseases encompassing axial and peripheral forms, with up to 20% of patients developing symptoms before age 16. Despite this substantial pediatric burden, treatment options for juvenile‐onset SpA (JSpA), particularly those with axial disease (axJSpA), remain limited.

Phase-lag effects in sheet flow transport
The inception of the sheet flow regime as well as the effects of the phase lag when the sheet flow regime is established were investigated for oscillatory flows and combined steady and oscillatory flows. A new criterion for the inception of sheet flow is

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

When long-range zero-lag synchronization is feasible in cortical networks
Many studies have reported long-range synchronization of neuronal activity between brain areas, in particular in the gamma-band with frequencies in the range of 40-80 Hz.
