Phase-stabilized complex-decorrelation angiography

open access: yesBiomedical Optics Express, 2021
In this study, we developed a novel phase-stabilized complex-decorrelation (PSCD) optical coherence tomography (OCT) angiography (OCTA) method that can generate high quality OCTA images. This method has been validated using three different types of OCT systems and compared with conventional complex- and amplitude-based OCTA algorithms.

Understanding element solution energies in nickelbase alloys using machine learning

open access: yesMaterials Research Express, 2023
The design of nickelbase superalloys requires to tune the content of different phases with a composition of Ni _3 A, either to strengthen the alloy ( $\gamma ^{\prime} $ -phase, Ni _3 Al, γ ″-phase, Ni _3 Nb) or to influence its grain size and avoid ...

Phase Stability and Deformation Behavior of TiZrHfNbO High-Entropy Alloys

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2020
Strengthened by Oxygen doping, the single-phase body-center-cubic (BCC) TiZrHfNbO refractory high-entropy alloys (HEAs) become strong and ductile. However, phase stability at intermediate temperature and the effects of Oxygen addition on the deformation ...

Stability of A15 type phases [PDF]

open access: yesSolid State Communications, 1974
Abstract Previous works dealing with the stability of the A15 phases are reviewed. Data for over 60 known A15 phases are used to develop criteria for stability which may be applied to hypothetical A15 phases. Occurrence of these phases is examined in terms of the valence bond concepts of the Engel-Brewer correlation and in its frequency with changes ...

An experimental study of intermodulation effects in an atomic fountain frequency standard [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The short-term stability of passive atomic frequency standards, especially in pulsed operation, is often limited by local oscillator noise via intermodulation effects.

Brownmillerites CaFeO2.5 and SrFeO2.5 as Catalyst Support for CO Oxidation

open access: yesMolecules, 2021
The support material can play an important role in oxidation catalysis, notably for CO oxidation. Here, we study two materials of the Brownmillerite family, CaFeO2.5 and SrFeO2.5, as one example of a stoichiometric phase (CaFeO2.5, CFO) and one existing ...

Island Stability in Phase Space [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2018
Starting with a conventional bump on tail problem, which is equivalent to finding a solution of the Vlasov/Fokker-Planck equation in the presence of the phase space island, we obtain a primary equilibrium state. The stability of this state is investigated as a function of the effective velocity-space drag and diffusion, as well as the width of these ...
