Flora, 1990Summary Development and structure of seeds in Vigna unguiculata W alp . and anatomy of mature seeds in Pueraria phasealaides B enth ., P. tuberasa DC. and Teramnus labialis S preng . have been studied. Mature seed coat consists of a layer of both macrosclereids and osteosclereids. This layer is underlain by 3 to 4 layers of parenchymatous cells.

A New Species of Alistilus (Leguminosae-Phaseoleae) from Madagascar
Kew Bulletin, 1981During a brief visit to Paris in June 1980 I examined material of Dolichos and its immediate allies in connection with the preparation of a monograph of Macrotyloma (Wight & Arn.) Verdc. An unnamed specimen with extraordinarily large flowers was totally unfamiliar to me and proved to be a new species of Alistilus.
