PhAST: Pharmacophore alignment search tool [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Computational Chemistry, 2009
We developed the Pharmacophore Alignment Search Tool (PhAST), a text-based technique for rapid hit and lead structure searching in large compound databases. For each molecule, a two-dimensional graph of potential pharmacophoric points (PPPs) is created, which has an identical topology as the original molecule with implicit hydrogen atoms.

PHASTEST: faster than PHASTER, better than PHAST [PDF]

open access: yesNucleic Acids Research, 2023
Abstract PHASTEST (PHAge Search Tool with Enhanced Sequence Translation) is the successor to the PHAST and PHASTER prophage finding web servers. PHASTEST is designed to support the rapid identification, annotation and visualization of prophage sequences within bacterial genomes and plasmids.

PHAST: A Fast Phage Search Tool [PDF]

open access: yesNucleic Acids Research, 2011
PHAge Search Tool (PHAST) is a web server designed to rapidly and accurately identify, annotate and graphically display prophage sequences within bacterial genomes or plasmids. It accepts either raw DNA sequence data or partially annotated GenBank formatted data and rapidly performs a number of database comparisons as well as phage 'cornerstone ...

PHASTER: a better, faster version of the PHAST phage search tool [PDF]

open access: yesNucleic Acids Research, 2016
PHASTER (PHAge Search Tool - Enhanced Release) is a significant upgrade to the popular PHAST web server for the rapid identification and annotation of prophage sequences within bacterial genomes and plasmids. Although the steps in the phage identification pipeline in PHASTER remain largely the same as in the original PHAST, numerous software ...
