Stringent response and phosphorylations of PHB synthase and PHB depolymerase influence the PHB content of Ralstonia eutropha H16

open access: yes, 2018
A physiological connection between polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) metabolism and the formation of polyphosphate (polyP) granules is known in form of the "enhanced biological phosphate removal process" (EBPR) and is used to expurgate phosphate from waste-water.

Assessing the Performance of Biopolymers as Substrates for Flexible Printed Supercapacitors Containing Liquid Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
The fossil‐based substrates of a printed supercapacitor containing liquid electrolytes can only be replaced with biopolymers if they have adequate permeabilities. This article studies three biopolymers based on their processability, printability, and barrier properties to find a more sustainable substrate option.

Structure and Spectroscopic Characterisation of Phenanthroline‐Based Iodobismuthate(III) Complexes Utilised for Raw Acoustic Signal Classification

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Memristors based on trimethylsulfonium (phenanthroline)tetraiodobismuthate have been utilised as a nonlinear node in a delayed feedback reservoir. This system allowed an efficient classification of acoustic signals, namely differentiation of vocalisation of the brushtail possum (Trichosurus vulpecula).

Polihidroksibutirat (PHB) biyopolimerinin modifikasyonu ve nanoselüloz katkılı PHB nanokompozitlerinin üretimi

open access: yes, 2023
Bu çalışmada Polihidroksibütirat (PHB) biyopolimerine maleik anhidrit (MA) aşılanarak PHB-g-MA kopolimeri üretilmiş ve bu kopolimerin saf PHB' ye ilave edilmesiyle PHB' nin morfolojik yapısının iyileştirilerek kırılganlığının azaltılması amaçlanmıştır.

Technobiological Pathways for High‐CO₂ Capture Using Micro‐/Macroalgae: Genetic Engineering, Process Automation, and Value‐Added Bioproducts

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have emerged as one of the most critical drivers of climate change; this is primarily due to high concentrations and long atmospheric life of carbon dioxide (CO2). For a significant amount of time, various biological processes such as microalgal cultivation, cyanobacterial systems, photosynthetic microorganisms ...

Tofacitinib for the Treatment of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Patient‐Reported Outcomes in a Phase 3, Randomized, Double‐Blind, Placebo‐Controlled Withdrawal Trial

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is associated with impaired overall health‐related quality of life (HRQoL). We evaluated the impact of tofacitinib on patient‐reported outcomes (PROs) in patients with JIA. Methods This was a post hoc analysis of a phase 3, randomized, double‐blind, placebo‐controlled withdrawal trial (NCT02592434) in ...

Pengaruh Jenis Sumber Nitrogen Pada Pembuatan Olyhydroxybutyrate Dari Glukosa Menggunakan Bakteri Bacillus Cereus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
