Redox‐Active Tungsten Mono‐Oxo Bis(dithiolene) Complex: A Fast‐Rechargeable Anode for High‐Capacity Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports the first application of a W‐oxo bis(dithiolene) complex, (Et4N)2[WO(S2C2(C6H5)2)2], as a novel anode material for lithium‐ion batteries. This complex stores Li+ ions via multivalent W‐centered redox processes involving its oxo (WO) and dithiolene (S) sites.

Bidirectional Photoswitching of a Tailored Azobenzene with Red and Far‐Red Light Involving Triplet Sensitization in an Aqueous System

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The action spectrum of a tailored azobenzene is shifted toward bio‐optical window through the chemical modification of its singlet and triplet energy levels. Consequently, the bidirectional photo‐switching of azobenzene in physiological conditions is achieved when excited by red and far‐red light, which offers greater tissue penetration.

Dual‐Mode Type I/II Photosensitization of a Stable Mesoporous Hydrogen‐Bonded Organic Framework for Antibacterial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A π‐conjugated donor–acceptor PDI monomer undergoes hydrogen‐bonded self‐assembly to form a robust mesoporous framework. The ordered molecular arrangement promotes efficient intersystem crossing and charge separation, leading to simultaneous Type I and Type II reactive oxygen species generation with a high singlet oxygen quantum yield.

Noninvasive Focal Gene Delivery into the Cerebellum of Non‐Human Primates using Focused Ultrasound

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Focal and non‐invasive viral vector delivery in non‐human primates remains a major challenge in translational neuroscience. Low‐intensity focused ultrasound was used to transiently open the blood–brain barrier and enable targeted gene delivery to the cerebellum.

Atomic Layer Deposition of Disordered p‐Type SnO Using a Heteroleptic Tin(II) Precursor: Influence of Disorder on P‐Channel SnO Thin‐Film Transistor Characteristics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Disordered p‐type SnO thin‐films are deposited via atomic layer deposition using a novel heteroleptic precursor. These films enable low‐temperature fabrication of thin‐film transistors with excellent stability and mobility. Their potential compatibility with flexible substrates and integration with n‐type IGZO transistors makes them candidates for ...

SPICE‐Compatible Compact Modeling of Cuprate‐Based Memristors Across a Wide Temperature Range

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A physics‐guided compact model for YBCO memristors is introduced, incorporating carrier trapping, field‐induced detrapping, and a differential balance equation to describe their switching dynamics. The model is compared with experiments and implemented in LTspice, allowing realistic circuit‐level simulations.
