This study reveals a facile silylation protocol that enables the delivery of a stable and activatable dioxasilepanyl group, Si(pan)Me, to aryl and alkyl chlorides. Of note is the X‐ray structure of 18‐C‐6·K–Si(pan)Me, which elucidates a pivotal silylpotassium intermediate.

Ultraviolet radiation thin film dosimetry: A review of properties and applications
Solar ultraviolet (UVR) exposure measurements at various body sites during daily activities, as well as on plants, animals, and any field sites of interest are essential for an understanding of the UVR environment. Thin film dosimetry provides a practical and versatile method for conducting these measurements.

Root surface biomodification in periodontal therapy: Biological rationale and clinical applications
Abstract Regenerative periodontal therapy aims to form new cementum, periodontal ligament, and alveolar bone, all sealed by gingival tissue. The root surface acts as the wound margin during this regeneration process. Root surface biomodification (root conditioning/root decontamination), therefore, seems instrumental in promoting surface decontamination

ABSTRACT Methylene blue (MB), a phenothiazine derivative, is currently under clinical trials for Alzheimer's disease (AD) due to its potential to inhibit tau aggregation, a key pathological process in AD. In this study, we developed and qualified a rapid and reliable liquid chromatography‐quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry (LC‐qTOF‐MS) method ...
