A small-molecule degron with a phenylpropionic acid scaffold

open access: yesBioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry
Targeted protein degradation (TPD), employing proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs) composed of ligands for both a target protein and ubiquitin ligase (E3) to redirect the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) to the target protein, has emerged as a promising strategy in drug discovery.

Moderator Effects on Recoil Tritium Reactions with Lithium β-Phenylpropionate

open access: yesRADIOISOTOPES, 1984
The recoil tritium reactions were studied with lithium beta-phenylpropionate having both the aromatic and aliphatic C-H bonds in the molecule, mainly in terms of the moderator effect on the intramolecular tritium distribution. Recoil tritium atoms were produced by the 6Li(n,alpha)3H reaction. Water molecules were used as the moderator.
