A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis of the Recurrence of Autoimmune Encephalitis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Autoimmune encephalitis (AE) is a disease with a potential for recurrence, and patients receive immunotherapy to prevent it. However, there is no consensus on the duration of immunotherapy. This study aimed to determine the recurrence rate and identify the risk factors for AE to provide guidance on the duration of immunotherapy ...

Is information something ontological, or physical or perhaps something else? Some remarks on R. Krzanowski approach to concept of information

open access: yesZagadnienia Filozoficzne w Nauce, 2022
As one may have noticed, the title of this paper is somewhat provocative. We found Roman Krzanowski’s (2020a,b,c; 2022) proposed approach to the problem of information very intriguing.

Steering Oxygen Activation Pathways via Redox Dual‐Defects in 2D Hydrated WO3 for High‐Yield Singlet Oxygen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Redox dual‐defects (Cs substitution and O vacancies) in 2D hydrated WO3 steer O2 activation toward selective singlet oxygen evolution. WO‐CO achieves 8.6–15.8 times higher 1O2 production than single‐defect or pristine catalysts, enabling efficient pollutant mineralization via a pathway‐selective photocatalytic mechanism.

An integrative semiotic framework for information systems: The social, personal and material worlds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The paper argues that semiotics, the theory of signs and symbols, is at the heart of the representation and transmission of information and meaning, and is thus central, to communication and information systems, but especially in their contemporary, more

Microscopic Insights into Magnetic Warping and Time‐Reversal Symmetry Breaking in Topological Surface States of Rare‐Earth‐Doped Bi2Te3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic doping of the topological insulator Bi2Te3 with erbium adatoms induces out‐of‐plane magnetism and breaks time‐reversal symmetry, opening a Dirac gap and driving a Fermi surface transition from hexagonal to star‐of‐David geometry. Microscopy, spectroscopy, and magnetic dichroism reveal atomically controlled magnetic interactions that tailor the
