Do gravitational waves confirm Hawking's area law? [PDF]
Recently an experiment has been performed for the purpose of "testing the area law with GW150914". As the experimenters put it, the experiment presents "observational confirmation" of Hawking's area law based on the GW150914 data. It is the purpose of this paper to philosophically examine the test of the area law and to show that the area law is not ...

The laws of Newton and Coulomb as information transmission by virtual particles [PDF]
In elementary particle physics the philosophy of virtual particles is widely used. We use this philosophy to obtain the famous inverse square law of classical physics. We define a formal model without fields or forces, but with virtual particle - information transmitter.

As defect density in 3D perovskites is controlled by adjusting excess formamidinium iodide concentration, shallow defects acts as a carrier sink for amplified spontaneous emission (ASE). A comprehensive charge carrier dynamic model is presented to understand the critical factor of the reduction of ASE threshold.
